Vegan Granola Bars

Ariel has been working hard in the kitchen! Check out the first episode of her 1 minute Greener Future Food Series! I wish you could all taste this video, we've had our fill...good thing they're healthy!

A Greener Future Granola Bars 

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups of rolled oats
1 1/4 cups of Rice Krispies
1/4 cup hemp seeds
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup shredded coconut
2 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/2 cup + 1 tbsp brown rice syrup
1/4 cup almond butter
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

1. Line 9" square pan with foil or parchment.
2. Mix dry ingredients together.
3. In a small saucepan stir together brown rice syrup and almond butter over medium heat until it bubbles slightly.
4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
5. Mix wet and dry ingredients.
6. Spread mixture evenly in the pan and pack it down.
7. Put in the freezer for 10 minutes to chill.
8. Lift out of the pan and cut into sections.
9. Enjoy!
